8.5 MSD Information and Setup
The MSD LCD, in combination with the five buttons to the left, allow access to three different screens, plus the
bootup screen, that shows the current firmware revision. The screens may be cycled by using the up and down
buttons on the MSD. The screens are:

The default status screen, See the Table 12.
▪
Ethernet parameters page, which will show one of the following:
o
Ethernet Module not installed
o
EtherNet/IP
o
PROFINET
o
IP address type (static or DHCP)
o
IP address value
o
Subnet mask.

The RF Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) screen; this shows the signal strength of each PSD that
is currently linked. A lower number (around 50-60) indicates a very strong signal while a higher number
(around 90-100) indicates a weaker signal.
