3.2 Waste management
This instrument is not to be
disposed of with the household
waste. Consumers are obliged
to send all electric or electronic
instruments, whether or not they
contain any hazardous materials, to a
depository for environmental pollutants
in their home town or to their specialized
dealership to ensure their environmentally
sound disposal. Do not forget to remove
the battery from the instrument before
throwing it away. Used batteries do not
belong into the household waste, but
should be taken to the pertinent waste
management facility or a special collecting
point at the supermarket or the electronics
store. If you have any questions regarding
waste management, please contact your
municipality or your specialized vendor.
3.3 Warranty and repair conditions
If you wish to submit a warranty claim,
please contact your supplier or our
customer service. If the instrument is to be
sent to our customer service, make sure to
enclose a description of the complaint as
well as a copy of your receipt of purchase.
Warranty is granted subject to the
following conditions:
1. The
Caremaxx
products are subject
to a warranty period of three years,
starting with the purchasing date as
evidenced by the receipt or invoice.
2. All complaints due to material or
manufacturing
defects
will
be
remedied free of charge within the
warranty period.
3. A warranty case does not automatically
imply an extension of the warranty
period; neither for the instrument
itself nor for the replaced parts.
4. Excluded from the warranty are:
a. Any
damages
caused
by
inappropriate use; for instance due
to noncompliance with the user
manual.
b. Damages caused by repair jobs
performed by the purchaser or by
any other unauthorized person.
c. Transport damages in transit
accrued enroute from the seller to
the consumer or from the consumer
to the customer service.
d. Accessories that are subject to
wear.
5. The producer accepts no liability
for direct or indirect consequential
damages caused by the instrument; not
even if the damages to the instrument
constitute an acknowledged warranty
case.
