9. Press the MODE button. The system answers with:

ARE YOU SURE ? Y

10. Press the MODE button to confirm or the SET button to change the answer; 

If the mode button is pressed the deletion of the code is conformed and the fol-

lowing message appears on the display.

CODE N. #### 

* D  E  L  E  T  E  D *

The code is removed from the non volatile internal memory. 

If however the SET button is pressed and then the mode button, the operation is 

cancelled and the display will return to point 7.

11. If you wish to cancel the operation go back to point 7 and then exit the level by 

confirming the 0 already shown in the display.

The system confirms that you are out of the deletion menu by showing the start 

up display.

STEP C: ENABLING OR DISABLING THE USER CODE

1. Press the MENU 1 button and follow all the operations of 

step B

 up to point 7.

2. Use the SET and MODE buttons to choose option 2 ( 

2=DIS

 ) if you wish to dis-

able a user code. If you wish to enable a new user code choose option 3 ( 

3=EN

 

).

3. If you confirm option 2 by pressing the MODE button (code disabling) the system 

will answer with the following message:

CODE N. ####

* D  I  S  A  B  L  E  D *  

If you confirm option 3 by pressing the MODE button (code enabling) the system 

will answer with the following message:

CODE N. ####

* E  N  A  B  L  E  D *

STEP D: ENABLING OR DISABLING USER TRANSMITTER CHANNELS

In order to change the status of the channels set during the memorisation stage 

(channel enabled or disabled) follow the user code deletion instructions (

Step B

up to point 7.

ON-LINE FUNCTION

Once the ACD-148 has been installed the four I/O ports can only be accessed 

by users who possess a radio control with a correctly memorised code. When a 

recognised code is received  the system performs the following operations:

A)  

The relay relative to the encoded channel is activated

B) 

The following message appears on the display

CODE  N. 0012  CH. A

08/04   16:20:14

C) 

The following message is sent to the printer

08/04 - Transmitter #0012 Channel “A”  Activated at 16:20:14

If the received code - even if generated by a CARDIN transmitter mod. S48 

- was not previously memorized, the ACD-148 will send the following message 

to the display :

CODE NOT FOUND

ACCESS INVALID

If a previously disabled code - according to the procedure described in step C 

- has been received, the following message will be sent to the display:

CODE  N. ####

    DISABLED

The following message will also be sent via the I/F232 serial line:

08/04 - Transmitter #0012 Code disabled received at 16:20:14

If the system receives a code attempting to gain access through a disabled 

channel - by means of the procedure described in step D - the following mes-

sage is sent to the display :

CODE  N. ####

    CH. #  DISABLED

The following message will also be sent via the I/F232 serial line:

08/04 - Transmitter #0012 Code CH.”A” disabled received at   

16:20:14

The following situations where there is no relay activation, are not stored in the 

events memory:
