When the units relating to the minutes have been set, press the MODE key and 

the system will complete the data by adding the seconds. 

At the end of this operation the system prompts the following message:

  

 ARE YOU SURE?>> Y

AT this point it is possible to switch between the answer Y and N by pressing the 

SET key and confirming the choice by pressing the MODE key .

If the answer “N” is given the system restarts with the initial clock setting proce-

dure; If the answer Y is given the time and date are confirmed and the following 

message appears:

The internal clock is now set.

The internal clock automatically adjusts to compensate for leap years

STEP A:  MEMORIZING THE USER CODE

1. Insert the encoded key in the slot. If the code is confirmed the led “Key-Enable” 

will light up; 

Caution: If you are using  pre-encoded Cardin model S48 radio 

controls go directly to point 7 otherwise carry on from point 2.

2. Press the COD-GEN button to memorise  one of the randomly generated codes 

and make it available for transfer to a transmitter (TX);

3.  

Insert  a  2/4  channel  S48  transmitter  into  the  relative  slot  on  the  front 

panel

4. Press the TX key relative to the channel which is to be memorised. If the code 

has been correctly transferred from the ACD-148 to the transmitter the LED Code 

transferred will light up.

5. Repeat operation 4 by pressing all the transmitter  keys of the channels you want 

to activate;

In this way the generated code is transferred from the ACD-148 to the EEPROM 

in the transmitter.

Pressing the <space bar> alternates between Y and N, pressing <CR> confirms 

the choice.

If the answer Y is given you return to point A2.1 otherwise you are returned to the 

system menu without altering the time.

A3  Modifying the BAUD RATE

The system BAUD RATE can be modified by choosing Nr. 3 from the system 

menu: The current BAUD RATE will appear on the screen as follows:

If the answer Y is given the current baud rate is confirmed and you are returned to

To select the desired  BAUD RATE press 1,2,3 or 4 or press the <ESC> key to 

make no changes.

The following message appears after the baud rate has been chosen:  

 

 

 

 

Type <ESC> to EXIT.

ATTENTION: After the BAUD RATE has been modified the system will continue to 

operate using the old baud rate until the next system RESET (activated by pressing 

the relative button on the back of the ACD-148)  or until the next SERIAL TIMEOUT 

interruption. If the BAUD RATE is changed from a remote station you must wait 

for 2 minutes to pass without introducing data via the keyboard in order to update 

the baud rate.
