15. If the MODE button is pressed with the answer “Y” on the display the system 

will answer:

This means that the transmitter code has been memorized by the system with the 

progressive number: ####

will show the start up message and no operations will be carried out:

17. To insert user information such as names or other forms of identification you 

must be connected to a terminal.

STEP B:  DELETING THE USER CODE

1.  

Press the “Menu 1” button with an enabled transmitter inserted and the 

following message will appear on the display:

  

  ENTRY CODE

 NUMBER = 0000

2. Repeatedly press the SET button to change the number indicated by the cursor 

prompt (from 0 to 9);

3. Press the mode button to confirm the choice and move on to the next unit of the 

number to be set;

4. Repeat operation 2 and  3 until the required code is completed;

5. After the last confirmation the system asks:

ARE YOU SURE ? Y

6. Press the MODE button to confirm or the SET button to change the answer;

7. If the answer Y is given the system answers with the following message:

1=DEL  2=DIS   3=EN

4=CH  0=OUT  >> 0

8. Repeatedly press the SET button until a “1” appears in the option indicated by 

the cursor prompt;

INTERFACING WITH A TERMINAL

All the on site operations carried out using the control buttons on the appliance 

front panel may also be executed via terminal ( VT100 compatible terminal ) or via 

a PC fitted with a serial interface controller. Once the connections have been car-

ried out as shown in fig. 4 pag. 8 and the correct communication parameters have 

been set (see appendix A), press the <TAB> key on the keyboard

If the communication is correct the following message will appear on the screen:

 

ENTER PASSWORD [ 8 characters ] >> ........

If the system has just been initialised type in the generic password “12345678 “ , 

otherwise type in your personal password. If the password is correct you will be 

given access to the main menu, otherwise the following message will appear on 

the display:

 

**  END   ** [ type  < TAB > for  MENU ].

ATTENTION: The system is “Case Sensitive”, and makes a distinction between 

uppercase and lowercase letters. This means that the password:” ABCDEFGH” 

is different to the password “ABCDEFGh”.

If the introduced password is correct the following menu will appear on the

To enter one of the sub-menus press a number from 1 to 4; to exit the menu press  

number 5 or <ESC>.

The program allows you to move between menus by pressing number keys and to 

exit the system using the <ESC> key.

Each time a serial connection is made the following message will appear on the 

display:

CAUTION:

 

While the serial line is occupied the appliance is unable to receive 

and process data via the radiocontrol inputs.

For this reason, if a two minute time period has passed during which no keys have 

been pressed, the system will automatically return to the “ ON LINE”  mode and 

the following message will appear on the screen
