3. Adjusting the Scanner Cable Tension
Move the tension plate and tighten the screw

so that the distance across the ends
of the cable spring

is 34 ±1 mm as indicated in Figure 2-16.

4. Assembling the Mirror Positioning Tool
1) Remove the screw found in position B.

2) Fit the screw removed in step 1) in position A, and tighten it slightly.
3) Extend the arm accommodated by the main frame unit it butts against the stopper as
in Figure 2-18.
