Specify the binding erase feature, and press “Next.”
The position of the binding holes refers not to the position in which the original is placed on
the platen glass, but to the position of the binding holes viewed when the surface of the
original that you want to scan is face up, with its top edge aligned with the top left corner of
the platen glass.

Set the desired binding erase width using “–” or “+”
→
press “OK”
→
press “Done.”
When entering values in millimeters, you can use
-
(numeric keys) and
(Clear).
Even when you enter the values with
-
(numeric keys), you can change the values
using “–” or “+.”
The specified mode is set and the display returns to the Scan screen.
If you enter a value outside the setting range, a message prompting you to enter the
appropriate value appears on the screen.
NOTE

If you want to enter values in millimeters, press “mm.”
•
The default setting is 3/4" (18mm).
