Control Panel

Switching Modes

Switching the Printer Online/Ofine

Press the

Online

button to switch the printer online or ofine.

The Online lamp is lit in Online mode. Printing is possible in this mode.

The Online lamp is off in Ofine mode.

Depending on the status, the printer switches online and ofine as follows.

Printer Status

When Online is Pressed

Online

The printer switches ofine and the Online lamp goes
off.

Online, printing

Switches ofine and printing is paused.
When printing is paused, the

menu is

available.

Ofine

If paper has been advanced, the printer goes online
and the Online lamp is lit.

In the case of error messages other than those
shown below or if paper is not loaded, the printer
remains ofine until you solve the problem. The
Online lamp remains off.

Ofine, when an error message is displayed

If the following error messages are displayed, the
printer goes online and printing is resumed.

Insufcient paper for job

PHead needs cleaning.

Papr Size Mismatch
