Do not rotate the toner cartridge. Doing so may cause the toner cartridge to leak.

Use only toner cartridges intended for use with this machine.

■

Do not replace the toner cartridges until the message prompting you to do so ap-
pears.

■

The color of the toner to be replaced is shown on the touch panel display. When
you replace two or more toner cartridges, replace the toner cartridge that you want
to supply in order of black, cyan, magenta, and yellow.

■

If you continue copying or printing in black-and-white after cyan, magenta, or
yellow toner runs out, do not remove the depleted toner cartridges from the ma-
chine.

■

Be careful of counterfeit toner cartridges.
Please be aware that there are counterfeit Canon toner cartridges in the marketplace.
Use of counterfeit toner cartridge may result in poor print quality or machine
