1) Release the locks of the ADF Upper Unit [1] and the ADF Lower Unit [2].
• 2 Claws [3]
NOTE:
Release the locks in this step to release the pressure applied on the ADF Pickup Roller
and the Slave Roller.

2) Remove the gear [1].
• 1 Claw [2]
3) Remove the bushing [3] and E-ring [4].

4) Move the bushing [1], and remove the ADF Pickup Roller [2].

CAUTION:
Be sure to fit the 2 protrusions of the bushing [1] on the right and left into the 2 cut-offs [A]
on the right and left when assembling.
