7) Free the Ferrite Core [1] from the Wire Saddle [2].

8) Disconnect the terminal [1] of the Grounding Wire.
• 1 Screw (black TP) [2]
9) Disconnect the 3 connectors [3] and Flat Cable [4].
• 1 Ferrite Core [5]
10) Free the disconnected Grounding Wire [1], 3 harnesses [3], and Flat Cable [4] from the
Harness Guide [A].

Removing the CIS Unit
■
Preparation
1) Remove the Left Cover (Refer to page 4-27).
2) Remove the ADF Left Cover (Refer to page 4-23).
3-1) Remove the Handset Base Unit
(L100/L170/L174/L250/L150 CHN/L150 KOR/L154) (Refer to page 4-24).
3-2) Remove the ADF Left Upper Cover (L150 EUR/L150 AUS) (Refer to page 4-26).
4) Remove the ADF Right Cover (Refer to page 4-23).
5) Remove the Document Feed Tray (Refer to page 4-61).
6-1) Remove the ADF Upper Unit and ADF Lower Unit
(L100/L170/L174/L250/L150 CHN/L150 KOR/L154) (Refer to page 4-62).
6-2) Remove the ADF Upper Unit and ADF Lower Unit
(L150 EUR/L150 AUS) (Refer to page 4-65).
