Chapter 6 Troubleshooting

The paper edges are stained. The paper may be curled. Flatten the paper.

Open the [Utility] tab in the printer driver and then select the [Stain
Reduction] in the [Special Settings].

The images on the edge of the
paper are missing. Paper whose width is longer than its height is being printed with
any of the following application software.
- Microsoft Office PowerPoint
- Microsoft Office Word 2010
- Microsoft Office Word 2013
When you print to a business card or paper whose width is longer
than its height, some application software may automatically
change the paper orientation, hindering proper printing.
Open the [Page Setup] tab in the printer driver and set [Orientation]
and [Print with the selected orientation] according to the
document orientation.
