Never touch the
print head itself as
this could make
further printing
impossible.

Press down on the
mark on
the top of the BJ Cartridge.
Press down until you hear a click.

Press the blue REPLACE
button.
The printer beeps once, the
cartridge holder moves to the right
end of the printer and print head
cleaning begins.

Close the front cover.
The POWER lamp flashes during
print head cleaning. Head cleaning
takes one to two minutes, after
which the POWER lamp stops
flashing and remains lit. A print
head alignment message then
appears.

Place the new BJ Cartridge into
the holder at an angle along the
cartridge holder guides.
