Turn off the printer and computer, turn them on
finished
again, and try printing again.
Not using the correct
Restart print operation
printer driver
Start the print procedure again and make sure Canon
BJC-6000 is the selected printer driver.
Parallel cable not
Check parallel cable
connected correctly
Make sure the parallel cable is securely fastened to the
computer and printer. See Quick Start Guide for details.
Parallel cable fault
Try to use another printer cable
Make sure you are using an IEEE 1284-compatible
parallel interface cable.
Switching device or
Disconnect the switching device or external buffer
external buffer fault
Try printing with the printer directly connected to the
computer. If you can then print normally, the fault is
probably in the switching device or external buffer.
Consult the switching device or external buffer supplier.
Internal file or application
Rebuild the document and print it again
software problem
If there is no problem with the new document, the
original file was probably faulty. If the same problem
recurs with the new file, call the Canon Customer
Care Center for help (see page 1-4).
