Selecting the Sending Method

Basic F

ax Usage

Make sure the machine is ready to send, and set the sending
conditions.

For details of the sending conditions, see the following:

- ‘Setting the Resolution, Density, and Image Quality to Match the Original,’ on p. 2-9

- ‘Stamping Sent or Scanned Originals (Stamping Original),’ on p. 2-17

- Chapter 3 ‘Special Fax Functions’

Specify the destination.

For details, see ‘Various Dialing Methods,’ on p. 2-19.

Press

(Start).

The resolution, density, and image quality must be set after placing the original in the
feeder and before scanning.

NOTE

•

To cancel scanning, press “Cancel” on the touch panel display or

(Stop) on the control

panel.

•

The available memory is displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.

When sending multiple originals by placing them on the platen glass:

Press

(Start) for each document. Then press “Done” when the documents are

scanned completely.
