MLRemote User's Guide
3.1 MLBase Configuration
A single MLBase is configured to communicate with one or more MLRemotes.
Note - If the MLBase has not yet been configured, this must be done before configuring any MLBase or MLRemote stations in
MLWebHardware. See the Canary Systems MLBase Users Guide for installation and configuration details for the MLBase.
From the server, or using a remote connection to the server, log into MLWebHardware. For additional information on
logging into and navigation in MLWebHardware see the
MLWebHardware Users Guide
.
Adding a MLBase
Click
Add
to create a new MLBase in MLWebHardware and to open the MLBase Device Configuration form.
Information
Enter the device details into the
Information
card of the MLBase Device Configuration form.

Name the MLBase something meaningful to help distinguish it from other MLBases configured on the server.
•
Until the program has been configured, leave the
Active
box
unchecked
.
•
Click
the
Save
button to save the device configuration in MLWebHardware.
