Displayed when brake is applied for more than 15 seconds
(while riding).
LO BATT VOLT
Check engine
Low battery voltage, check battery voltage and charging
system.
HIGH BATT VOLT
Check engine
High battery voltage, check battery voltage and charging
system.
LOW OIL

Engine low oil pressure, stop engine immediately.
HI TEMP

Serious fault on the engine that can change the normal

Engine fault, CHECK ENGINE indicator lamp will also be ON,

RECOGNIZED
Check engine
Communication error between speedometer and engine
control module (ECM), contact an authorized Can-Am dealer.
CHECK DPS
Check engine
Indicates that the DPS (Dynamic Power Steering) does not
work properly. See an authorized Can-Am dealer.

If the message and the check engine light stay on after engine
starting, stop engine. Check engine oil level. Refill if necessary. If the oil
level is good, seek service from an authorized Can-Am dealer, repair shop or
person of your own choosing for maintenance, repair or replacement. Do
not use the vehicle until repaired.
