2 - SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Do not carry the shear by the power-supply cable (10).
•
Do not use a different battery charger (21) from the one supplied by CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. In case of doubt,
check that the battery-charger model is one of those listed in par. 3.6. A disregard of this indication could cause
serious damages to the tool and injuries to the user.
•
When the tool is not used, switch off the electronic system by means of the selector (19) and the battery set by
means of the selector (8).
2.3 Maintenance
Warning!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments of the mechanical parts of the equipment,
wear protective shoes, gloves and goggles.
•
Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and
intellectual qualifications.
•
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a service mechanic.
•
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
•
Only service mechanics are authorized to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when
maintenance is to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety
devices shall be activated as soon as maintenance work has been completed.
•
Switch off the tool before any tool maintenance of adjustment operation.
•
All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at Campagnola S.r.l. Authorized
Service Points.
•
When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorized
by the service mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
- work has been completed;
- the machine runs in a trouble-free way;
- the safety devices are activated;
- no one is working on the machine.
3 - SPECIFICATIONS
3.1 Product identification
The tool identification details are shown on the plate inside the shear body, on the electronic card box (9) and on
the shear case.
3.2 Product description
The electronic battery-powered shear, with its cutting blade (14) in hardened steel, has been designed for pruning
vineyards, orchards, olive groves, citrus trees and ornamental plants.
The cutting power is generated by an electric motor, powered by a portable battery (1), which operates the blades
(15) by means of gears.
The shear is provided with a trigger (12) and with an electronic card, which checks the tool functions and avoids
accidental working
