2 - SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The tool is for a professional use only
•
Use the tool only while standing on the ground in a safe and stable position.
•
Always use adequate clothing as called for by the job. Wear tight clothing. Do not wear ties, necklaces
or belts which may get caught in moving parts. Use goggles, safety shoes and anti-vibration gloves
(picture C).
•
Do not operate, service or repair the equipment if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs which
could impair your alertness or co-ordination.
•
Only well-trained and qualified personnel who have read the Use and Maintenance Manual carefully are
allowed to use the tool.
•
Keep children and animals away from the tool.
•
Do not alter the safety and protective devices.
•
The operator is the only responsible for injuries caused to other people or for damages caused to their
belongings.
•
Do not use the tool when you are in unstable position or off balance.
•
It is forbidden to operate the tool while standing on a ladder.
•
Before any maintenance operations are carried out, switch the tool off.
•
Before any routine maintenance operation read the Use and Maintenanace Manual carefully. For any
other maintenance operation which is not described in this manual, please take the tool to a
Campagnola S.r.l. Authorized Service Point.
•
The tool shall be used for the purposes described in par. "Product Description" only. Other uses could
cause injuries and/or damages .
•
When the tool is not used, switch off the ON/OFF selector (position 0) (8)
•
Do not operate the tool if the blade group (15) is damaged or excessively worn out.
•
Never open the tool shell. It is only allowed to remove the front cover to replace the blades.
•
Keep the free hand away from the tool.
2.2 Use
•
The tool shall be strictly used for the purposes described in par. ‘Product Description’. Other uses could cause
injuries and/or damages.
•
When the tool is not used, switch off the electronic system by means of the selector (19) and put the shear into
its holster (35), keeping the blade group (15) closed. It is recommended to switch off the battery (1) by means of
the ON/OFF selector (8) (position 0).
WARNING!
Keep the switch (8) pressed for one second
•
Always keep the shear in its protection holster (35) when carrying it.
•
Before charging the battery set (1), switch the tool off by means of the operating mode selector (19) and the
battery set by means of the selector (8), then put the tool into its protection holster (35), keeping the blade group
(15) closed.
•
Do not open the electronic card box (18).
•
Do not leave the shear in the rain. Store it in a dry place.
