Introduction
9.1
The video-processing, which translates the sensor signal to the digital Camera Link output can be
configured. It is possible to select the number of bits on the output, there is the possibility to set a
digital gain and there is a possibility to change the output offset. Horizontal and vertical mirror can be
applied on demand.
Although the sensor in the camera has a fixed format, there are several possibilities to change the way
the sensor is read-out. It is possible to limit the amount of lines read from the sensor by selecting a
Region of Interest.
A user programmable output look up table can be configured to translate each pixel value to a user
defined value. This can be useful to implement, for instance, a Gamma correction.
Furthermore, the Camera Link output parameters can be set by command to meet the required
interface.

Digital
9.2.1.
gain
The digital gain of the camera can be set by means of the GA command.
Command format: GAx

Where x is 100 ... 800.
100=1x gain, 250=2.5x gain, etc.
Analog gain
9.2.2.
The programmable gain amplifier controls the analog gain in the sensor.
