1.3. Authorized operators
The product is aimed at expert operators who share
among end-users and specialized technicians (see
pictograms above).

It is forbidden for the end user to perform
interventions reserved for specialized
technicians. The manufacturer is not
responsible for damage resulting from non-
compliance with this prohibition.
1.4. Warranty
For the product warranty refer to the General
Conditions of Sale.

The warranty includes the replacement or
repair of defective parts (recognized by the
Manufacturer).
The warranty of the device is cancelled :
- If it is used in a way that does not comply with
the instructions and standards described in this
manual.
- In the event of modifi cations or variations made
arbitrarily without the authorization of the Builder
(see § 1.5).
- In the event of technical assistance interventions
carried out by personnel not authorized by the
manufacturer.
- If the maintenance provided in this manual is not
performed.
1.5. Technical support service
Any information on the documentation, support
services and components of the device may be
requested from CALPEDA PUMPS (see § 1.2) or
one of its resellers.
2. TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Fixed speed lifting stations with up to 2 pumps,
isolation valves and non-return valves at discharge.
For installation at home exit, pit exit, fi lter exit,
micro-station exit, rainwater or drainage water.
2.1. Intended use
For clear to slightly contaminated water or
for contaminated water. For non-explosive or
fl ammable liquids, not dangerous for health or the
environment, not aggressive to pump materials,
without abrasive, solid or fi brous particles
depending on the pump model.

2.2. Improper use
The device has been designed and constructed
exclusively for the intended use described in § 2.1.
It is forbidden to use the appliance for
improper use and in ways not provided for
in this manual.
Lifting stations should not be used in
locations where there is a risk of explosion
or danger of ignition.
We can not be held responsible for the use of
booster units with liquids that could be dangerous
to health either by contact or ingestion, or by
inhalation of fumes or gases emitted by the liquid.
Improper use of the product damages the safety
and effectiveness of the device ; CALPEDA
PUMPS can not be held responsible for failures or
accidents due to non-observance of the prohibitions
presented above.

under the cover of the lifting station.

3.3. Product overview
The lift station set is generally made of:
- 1 to 2 pumps
- 1 backfl ow check valve (1 per pump).
- 1 discharge shut-off valve (1 per pump).
- 1 discharge manifold (double pump station).
The lifting stations must be equipped with electrical
tripping devices to protect the line from motor
malfunctions.
4. SAFETY
4.1. General behavior standards
Before using the product it is necessary
to acknowledge all the information about
safety.
Carefully read all operating instructions and the
indications defi ned for the different steps : from
transportation to disposal.
The specialized technicians must carefully comply
with all applicable standards and laws, including
local regulations of the country where the pump is
sold. The device has been built in conformity with
the current safety laws.
The improper use could damage people, animals
and objects.
