AQUAVISION 2DETECT and

AQUAVISION 2DETECT-WI-SENS

ALARM MODULE

Brief description of the alarm module:

AQUAVISION 2DETECT

is a highly efficient leak detection control panel for both wired and wireless sensors.

These sensors are not supplied as standard; they need to be ordered separately.
This compact module is suitable for integration into the building’s computer network and in the event of a leak
will automatically send an alert to notify engineers of the problem. The integrated web server makes the module
easy

to

configure

and

all

data

can

be

viewed

remotely.

In the event of a leak, the location of the leak is visible on the module’s LCD screen and a buzzer is activated.
Automatic alerts are sent via SNMP or email and the alarm relay is enabled. All alarm data can be viewed
remotely. Each alarm is stored in the module’s memory, together with a time format and all detail data. The
location of the leak is easy to identify using a site plan in PDF format, which can be loaded into the alarm module.
Two separate wired leak circuits can be connected to this module. The maximum connection per circuit is 150
metres of leak detection cable or 10 leak detection probes. Optionally, an additional 8 wireless water leak sensors
can be connected to the alarm module.
The AQUAVISION 2DETECT can be easily integrated into any Building Management System by loading these relay
contacts or by reading the Modbus TCP/IP registry, which is present in the AQUAVISION 2DETECT module as
standard.

Alarm module for water leak detection systems with integrated web server and link to BMS via
Modbus registry.

All data and alarms are continuously available via the LAN network.

Accurate indication of the location of the leak.

Automatic alarm alert via relay, SNMP trap and alarm mail.

Automatic shut-off of supply pipes

Connecting the alarm module:

Place the housing against the wall. Use the available holes provided on the outside of the housing. Position the
AQUAVISION 2DETECT in a central location relative to the wireless sensors.

Connect the required cables to the module according to the diagram below. Holes are provided for this
purpose in the bottom of the housing, together with the necessary rubber seals. Punch a hole in the rubber
seal to feed the cable through.
