Water at the heart of our technology

Connecting the power supply:

Connect the power cable that supplies the power to the module, to terminals

24VAC, 12/24VDC or to the terminals 230VAC - bottom left).

Connecting the leak detection circuits:

Connect the connection cables of one or two wired water leak

detection circuits (leak detection cable sensor or probe) to the terminals GR-YB and after deployment, mark
the reference points for the distances.

Alarm notification via relay contacts:

All information from the module is transmitted through the network to

the BMS or external alarm system via Modbus TCP/IP registry. However, if you require relay contacts for
sending to an external system, then connect a cable to the appropriate relays below the module (bottom row
of contacts). A LEAK relay and a FAULT relay is located below the VALVE relay on each circuit. Note: if only one
send contact to an external system is available, the output relay is connected in series to the send using the
normally closed contacts.

Connecting to the computer network:

The network cable is plugged in via an RJ45 connector on the right-side

of the module. Correct Ethernet connection is indicated by the lights being on. This module has an integrated
web server. When correctly connected, the module is accessible to each computer on the network.

ATTENTION:
Note the colour of the cables to the terminals. G = Green, R = Red, Y = Yellow and B = Black. No more than two
circuits may be connected.
If only one circuit is connected, it is necessary to connect a bridging wire between Y and B and between G and
R of channel 2.

Optional wireless sensors:

There are 2 types of alarm module: one type has additional wireless sensors and one type does not.
1.

Type that is only suitable for 2 x wired sensors:

AQUAVISION 2DETECT

2.

Type that is also equipped for wireless sensors:

AQUAVISION 2DETECT-WI-SENS

This alarm module able to be connected to up to 8 wireless AV 2DETECT-4WP sensors (4 sensors per kit). You
can identify this type by the additional aerial mounted on the top of the module’s housing.

Follow this procedure to link the wireless sensors:

Adding wireless sensors in the system:
Open the housing by removing only the bottom cover.
Briefly press the “Config button” at the bottom between the green connectors,
and the following message appears on the LCD screen:

Now insert the batteries or the optional power adapter into the first wireless
transmitter and the following screen appears:

Next select the channel (from 1 to 8) to which the wireless sensor is to be
connected.
Briefly press the orange button on the front panel to choose the next channel.
