MUTE GRP
: Pressing this brings up the MUTE GROUPS SETUP page. This allows the input
channels to be assigned to any number of the eight MUTE Groups.

USER ASSIGN 11 to 20 / 31 to 40
: Set 1 USER ASSIGN buttons are by default the masters
for the CDC five’s 8 MUTE GROUPS, plus the GLOBAL DELAY and FX WINDOW. The current
functions are displayed on the adjacent OLED displays. There are two sets, or banks, of 10
buttons - selected by SET 1 and SET 2 (default empty) buttons at the top of the OLED display.
Other functions can be set for these buttons via the EDIT [14] button on the right-hand side
above the right set of USER ASSIGN [15] buttons.
The user defined functions include GLOBAL DELAY for the effects section, fast access to the
FX screen, GLOBAL INPUT, USER LAYER WINDOW, FAST VCA LEFT WINDOW, TALK TO
BUS or BUSSES, Waves
®
SoundGrid
®
windows, STORE, UPDATE, PREVIOUS CUE, NEXT
CUE and GO TO buttons. Assigning a MUTE GROUP to a button is done in this screen.
CUSTOM layers are also set to a button here.
