Sollte die Justage des Umlenkprofils nicht zum Erfolg
führen (wenn z. B. Falten an beiden Rändern gleich-
zeitig auftreten), ist der Druckkopf zu bombieren.
Drehen Sie dazu die Schraube (4) bzw. bei A8 die
zwei Schrauben (4a und 4b) im Uhrzeigersinn.
Gehen Sie dabei äußerst vorsichtig vor.
Sachschäden!
Nachdem beim Drehen ein deutlicher Wider-
stand zu verspüren ist, darf in sehr kleinen
Schritten maximal noch eine Viertelum-
drehung weiter gedreht werden.
Zwischenzeitlich ist der Folienlauf zu überprüfen.
Drehen Sie nur so weit, wie unbedingt notwendig.
Eine leichte Aufhellung in den Randbereichen des
Druckbildes ist nicht gänzlich auszuschließen.
Falls keine Bombierung notwendig ist, drehen Sie die
Schraube (4) bzw. bei A8 die Schrauben (4a und 4b)
so weit im Uhrzeigersinn, bis die Schraube minimal
klemmt.

Stellen Sie die Drucktemperatur in der Drucker-
konfiguration auf "0" zurück und überprüfen Sie das
Ergebnis der Justagen bei dieser Einstellung.
Hier sollten mit cab-Standard-Material konturen-
scharfe Linien und Schwarzflächen ohne Fehlstellen
erreicht werden.

Stellen Sie abschließend die Druckkopfabstützung
ein. Lösen Sie dazu die Schraube (7) und verschie-
ben Sie sie im Langloch nach hinten oben, bis der
Exzenter der Kopfabstützung die Druckkopfhalterung
gerade berührt. Ziehen Sie die Schraube an.
Die Einstellung darf sich nicht negativ auf das
Druckbild auswirken.

If the adjustment of the ribbon shield is not successful
(for example, if there are wrinkles on both sides at the
same time) the printhead must be bent.
In order to do that turn screw (4) respectively for A8
the two screws (4a and 4b) clockwise.
This must be done extremely careful.
Material damage!
As soon as a clear resistance is encountered,
the screw should not be turned by more than
a quarter-turn maximum !
Check the ribbon feed from time to time. Turn only as
far as necessary.
A slightly lighter print image may be visible on the
edges of the labels.
If there is no bending required, turn the screws (4)
respectively for A8 the two screws (4a and 4b)
clockwise until the screw jams just a bit.

Set the heat level in the Printer Configuration back to
“0“ and check the result of the adjustments at this
setting.
Use cab standard material for the test print. Ideally,
the printout should show clearly outlined lines and
evenly black areas without blanks.

Finally adjust the printhead support. Therefore loosen
screw (7) and shift it upwards until the eccentric
printhead support touches the printhead carriage.
Tighten the screw.
The setting must not worsen the quality of the print
image.
