Für die einwandfreie Funktion des Druckers ist es notwen-
dig, einen guten thermischen Kontakt zwischen den auf der
Leiterplatte-CPU (3) befindlichen Schrittmotor-Treibern (4)
und der Kühlrippe (6) des Gehäuses herzustellen.
Zu diesem Zweck sind zwischen Kühlrippe und Schritt-
motortreiber beim A3 zwei Stück und bei A4, A6 und A8 ein
Stück Wärmeleitfolie (5) eingeklebt.
Bei einem Austausch der Leiterplatte CPU ist es möglich,
dass Wärmeleitfolie an der defekten Leiterplatte haften
bleibt.
Aus diesem Grund befinden sich beim A3 zwei Stück und
bei A4, A6 und A8 ein Stück Wärmeleitfolie als Ersatz (Art.-
Nr. 5943182) im Lieferumfang der Ersatzteil-Leiterplatte.

Prüfen Sie, ob die Wärmeleitfolie (5) nach der
Demontage der defekten Leiterplatte noch auf der
Kühlrippe (6) haftet.

Entfernen Sie bei Bedarf eventuelle Reste der alten
Folie von der Kühlrippe und erneuern Sie die
Wärmeleitfolie. Ziehen Sie dazu die Abdeckfolie von
der weißen Fläche ab und kleben Sie die
Wärmeleitfolie wie im Bild dargestellt an die Kühlrip-
pe.

Ziehen Sie jetzt auch die Abdeckfolie von der rosafar-
benen Seite der Wärmeleitfolie.
To provide reliable functioning of the printer, a good thermal
contact between the the stepper motor drivers (4) on the
PCB CPU (3) and the cooling rib (6) of the chassis is
necessary.
Therefore pads of heat conductor foil (5) are located
between cooling rib and stepper motor driver. For A3 two
pads and for A4, A6 and A8 one pad of heat conductor foil
are needed.
When replacing the PCB CPU, the pads may remain on the
defective board.
To replace a pad, for A3 two and for A4, A6 and A8 one
spare pads (Part No. 5943182) are delivered with the
replacement board.

Check if the pads (5) still are on the cooling rib (6)
after removing the defective board.
10.
Before attaching the new pad, remove any pieces of
old foil from the cooling rib. Peel the cover foil from
the white pad surface first and stick it to the cooling
rib as shown below.

Now peel the cover foil from the pink surface of the
pad and mount the new PCB CPU.
