4-1 Charge device
The dedicated line is used to avoid any line damage or provide the line trip protection
for the high power to charge the power battery. If no dedicated line is used, it may
affect the normal operation of other devices on the line.
■
To avoid damage to the charge device:
●
Do not close the charge hatch when the charging port cover is opened.
●
Do not hit the charge device;
●
Do not place the charge device near a heater or any other heat source.
■
When the external power grid is powered off and on again after a short time, the
charge device will automatically restart the charge without reconnection.
■
During charge process, do not allow any person stayed in the car.
■
Before charge, it is recommended to park the car in a well-ventilated place.
■
The power switch must be in “OFF” position during DC charge process.
■
When the power battery is charged fully, the charge device will automatically stop.
■
Recommendation on use of a household AC charge connector: If the charge stops,
must firstly disconnect the charge device from the car and then disconnect the power
plug from the power supply.
■
Before start the car, please ensure that the charge device is disconnected, the
charging port cover and the charging port hatch is closed, because the power switch
may be in “OK” position when the charge device locking mechanism is not locked fully.
If the charging port cover is not closed, any water or foreign objects may enter the
charging port terminal, which will affect the normal use for a long time.

When the ambient temperature is below 0

, the charge time will be longer than under
normal conditions.

For ease of use, the expected full charge time will be indicated on the dashboard.
Under different temperatures, powers, charge facilities, and other conditions, the full
charge time may have a certain deviation, which is a normal phenomenon.
■
During charge process, the compressor and electronic fan may be operated as
needed; it is normal to hear some related sounds.
