3. Configuring the
Inverter Charger Combi
3.1 General
The Inverter Charger Combi can be easily configured using the DIP
switches located in the connection bay. The most important settings are
pre-configured as default. In most cases this will be sufficient to quickly
setup the unit for typical applications. This manual will describe the
DIP switch settings and all relevant factory default parameters. Experiened
users can also see chapter 7 for advanced customizable settings.
3.2 DIP switch settings / Factory Default overview
Please remove the lower front cover from the unit to get access to the
DIP switches. With the help of below table you can alter the factory
settings to change the charge programs and functionality of the
Inverter Charger Combi on a few points to your needs. The following
settings can be made:
Setting description
Factory setting = OFF
Local / External Programming
ON (External): DIP switches 2 to 7 or 9 are ignored and the
Inverter Charger Combi will always load the settings as configured
in Dashboard.
OFF (Local): The local DIP switch settings are used.
All other parameters are set to the factory default settings.
Factory setting = OFF
Charge Current reduction for ICC 1600 SI-N / 60A
ON: 50 % (30A)
OFF: 100 % (60A)
Factory setting 2 = OFF
Factory setting 8 = OFF
Charge Current reduction for ICC 3000 SI-N/120A
2 = OFF: 100 % (120A) for Li-batt. > 400Ah, Pb batt. >420Ah
8 = OFF
2 = OFF: 75 % (90A) for Li-batt. > 200Ah, Pb batt. >320Ah
8 = ON
2 = ON: 50 % (60A) for Li-batt. > 100Ah, Pb batt. >200Ah
8 = OFF
2 = ON: 25 % (30A) for Li-batt. <100Ah, Pb batt. >100Ah
8 = ON
Factory setting = ON
Low battery protect
ON: Low battery protect is on; disconnects when
battery <10,8V restart @ 12,0V, if inverter is in “Permanent”
mode
OFF: Low battery protect is off (immediate inverter shutdown
when the battery voltage is < 8.0V), restart @8,5V
