l Protect the vacuum pump with the electrical device according to
the rated current of the vacuum pump
Power connector on vacuum pump back side
l Make sure that the “Necessary installation instructions” are
followed
l Fasten or install the pump at its final installation site

WARNING
Risk of electrocution, risk of damage.
Electrical installation must be performed by a suitably qualified
electrician who knows and follows the following regulations:
- IEC 364 or CENELEC HD 384 or DIN VDE 0100,
- IEC Report 664 or DIN VDE 0110,
- VBG 4 or corresponding national regulations on accident
prevention
CAUTION
Check the connection of the motor inside the terminal box
according to the circuit diagram.
Risk of damage to the motor!
Motor of screw pump COBRA BC 0101 G is connected at factory.
l Connect supply cable on the female connection (EC) of the
vacuum pump
Equipment connections (with options)
Connection of the lines/ pipes
l Connect the intake lines
l
Connect the discharge lines
l Make sure that all caps, safeguards and similar covers are mounted
l Make sure that the inlet and outlet for the cooling air are not
covered or closed and that the flow of cooling air is not impaired in
any way
Oil filling
The COBRA BC 0101 G vacuum pumps are always delivered without
oil (see the chapter “Oil types” for information on the recommended
oils).

Prepare the quantity of oil specified in the table “Oil quantity”

NOTE : The quantity of oil specified in the installation handbook is of
informative nature only. Check the oil level with the help of the oil
sight glass (OSG) on the vacuum pump.

An Emergency Stop Switch (ESS) kit (N°0985800611) is connected to
the Tool Interface of the vacuum pump COBRA BC 0101 G.
When activated, the Emergency Stop Switch (ESS) plug stops the
vacuum pump.
