Überzeugen Sie sich vor jeder Benutzung
vom ordnungsgemäßen und fehlerfreien Zu-
stand des Kinder- und Jugendpflegebettes.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass keine Hindernisse
wie Möbel oder Dachschrägen die Verstellvor-
gänge behindern.
Beachten Sie bei Einsatz externer elektri-
scher Komponenten, wie z. B. Patientenliftern,
Leseleuchten oder Kompressoren für Lage-
rungssysteme, dass sich deren Netzkabel nicht
in beweglichen Teilen des Kinder- und Jugend-
pflegebettes verfangen oder beschädigt werden
können.
Schließen Sie das Bett direkt an eine Steck-
dose an. Verlängerungskabel und/oder Mehr-
fachsteckdosen sollten nicht verwendet werden.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass beim Anbringen wei-
terer Geräte (z. B. Kompressoren von Lage-
rungssystemen usw.) eine sichere Befestigung
und Funktion aller Geräte gegeben ist.
Legen Sie keine Mehrfachsteckdosen unter
das Kinder- und Jugendpflegebett. Es besteht
Brandgefahr durch eindringende Flüssigkeit.
Achten Sie auf eine sichere Verlegung aller
beweglichen Anschlusskabel, Schläuche usw.
Before each use make sure that the cot is in
proper and faultless condition.
Take care that no obstacles, such as furniture
or slanted ceilings interfere with the adjustment
functions.
Pay attention that when using additional elec-
trical components, such as patient lifts, reading
lights or compressors for positioning systems
that their electrical cords do not get entangled or
damaged by the moving parts of the bed.
Connect the bed directly to an electrical out-
let. Do not use extension cords and/or multiple
outlet extension cords.
Make sure that when attaching other appli-
ances (e.g. compressors for positioning sys-
tems) that a safe mounting and function is
guaranteed.
Do not put multiple electrical outlets under
the cot. Leaking liquids can be a fire hazard.
Pay special attention to securely locating all
wiring, cables, tubes, etc.
Bei Unklarheiten wenden Sie sich an die Her-
steller der Zusatzgeräte oder an BURMEIER.
Nehmen Sie das Kinder- und Jugendpflege-
bett außer Betrieb, wenn der Verdacht einer Be-
schädigung oder Fehlfunktion besteht:
Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose;
Kennzeichnen Sie das Kinder- und Jugend-
pflegebett deutlich als "DEFEKT" ;
Melden Sie dieses umgehend dem zuständi-
gen Betreiber.

Take the cot out of operation if damage or a
malfunction is suspected:
Immediately unplug the electrical plug from
the wall outlet;
Clearly mark the cot as "DEFECTIVE";
Promptly notify the appropriate operator.

Jugendpflegebettes nicht gezerrt, überfahren
oder durch bewegliche Teile gefährdet werden
kann.
Check to make sure that the cot is not
near to an open fire or strong heat sources,
such as electric radiators or gas ovens.
Do not continue to use the cot if any of the
parts are broken, torn, damaged or missing.
Only use replacement parts that are recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
Objects that could serve as a foothold or
could represent a suffocation or strangulation
hazard, such as strings, curtain cords, etc.,
should never be left in the cot.
Never place more than one mattress in
the cot.
Position the cables of power adapter in
such a way that during normal operation of
the cot the cable will not be stretched, driven
over or interfere with moving parts of the
bed.
