3.2 Location requirements
3.3 Chassis and Mattress Base Frame
Note the following safety relevant aspects to take into account when selecting the site of use:
• There must be sufficient room available to accommodate the bed’s entire range of ad-
justments. Furniture, window sills, etc. must not impede adjustments.
• The space underneath the bed must remain free.
• Before using the bed on parquet flooring, check whether the castors will leave stains on
the parquet varnish. The bed can be used on tiles, carpet, linoleum or laminate flooring
without causing any damage. Burmeier is not liable for any floor damage that may be
caused by day-to-day operation.
• A properly installed 230 volt mains socket must be available as close as possible to the
bed.
• If any other additional equipment is attached to the bed, (e.g. compressors for position-
ing systems etc.), ensure that this is securely fastened and functions properly. Pay par-
ticular attention here to the safe routing of all loose connector cables, tubing, etc.

Tools required: Allen key, 8 mm
1. Remove the chassis from the cardboard box, set it down and remove all packaging foil
from the cables.
