Full-length side panels
3.5.2.1

The side panel is asymmetrical. The short side must face upwards.
The bed can optionally be fitted with full-length side panels (1x per bed side). The use of full-
length side panels is only possible in conjunction with full-length safety sides (DSG).
The side panels are fixed to the longitudinal tube of the mattress base using screws.
1.
Adjust the bed to its highest position to make the assembly process easier.
2.
Raise the thigh rest and the backrest.
3.
Position the side panel, as shown, along the longitudinal tube of the mattress base [1].
4.
Fasten the side panel to the inner side of the mattress base [2] with the through-bolts
and the washers (4x).
5.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the other side panel.
