Bei Unklarheiten wenden Sie sich an die Her-
steller der Zusatzgeräte oder an BURMEIER.
Nehmen Sie das Pflegebett außer Betrieb,
wenn der Verdacht einer Beschädigung oder
Fehlfunktion besteht:
Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose;
Kennzeichnen Sie das Pflegebett deutlich als
"DEFEKT" ;
Melden Sie dieses umgehend dem zuständi-
gen Betreiber.
Eine Checkliste zur Beurteilung des ordnungs-
gemäßen Zustandes finden Sie in Kapitel 6.
Verlegen Sie das Kabel des Schaltnetz-
teils so, dass es beim Betrieb des Pflegebet-
tes nicht gezerrt, überfahren oder durch
bewegliche Teile gefährdet werden kann.
Ziehen Sie vor jedem Transport unbedingt
den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und
befestigen das Schaltnetzteil so am Bett,
das die Kabel nicht herabfallen oder über
den Fußboden schleifen.
Kontrollieren Sie das Netzkabel regelmä-
ßig auf mechanische Beschädigung hin (Ab-
schürfungen, blanke Drähte, Knickstellen,
Druckstellen usw.) und zwar:
nach jeder größeren mechanischen Bela-
stung (z. B. Überfahren des Netzkabels mit
dem Pflegebett selbst; mit einem Gerätewa-
gen; nach starken Zug- und Biegebeanspru-
chungen durch Wegrollen des Pflegebettes
trotz eingestecktem Netzkabel);
nach einer Standortveränderung/Verschie-
ben vor dem Einstecken des Steckers;
im laufenden Betrieb regelmäßig durch
den Anwender.
Verwenden Sie den Freiraum unter dem
Pflegebett nicht als "Parkplatz" für irgend-
welche Utensilien.
Route the transformer unit cable in such a
way that it cannot be stretched, driven over or
damaged by moving parts when the nursing
bed is operated.
Before relocating the nursing bed, it is
important that the power cable is removed
from the wall socket and the transformer unit
is attached to the bed in such a way that the
cable cannot fall off or trail along the floor.
Check the power cord regularly for damage
(abrasions, exposed wires, kinks, pressure
marks, etc.) in particular:
after every larger mechanical strain (e.g.:
rolling over the power cord with the nursing
bed or with an equipment cart; after a strong
pulling or bending load caused by the bed
rolling away with the power cord still attached
to the wall outlet).
after relocating/moving and before plugging
in the power cable.
during prolonged operating by the user.
Do not use the area under the nursing bed
as a "parking spot" for any utensils.

Take the nursing bed out of operation if
damage or a malfunction is suspected:
Immediately unplug the electrical plug from
the wall outlet;
Clearly mark the nursing bed as
"DEFECTIVE";
Promptly notify the appropriate operator.

located in Chapter 6.
Beachten Sie bei Einsatz externer elektri-
scher Komponenten, wie z. B. Patientenliftern,
Leseleuchten oder Kompressoren für Lage-
rungssysteme, dass sich deren Netzkabel nicht
in beweglichen Teilen des Pflegebettes verfan-
gen oder beschädigt werden können.
Schließen Sie das Bett direkt an eine Steck-
dose an. Verlängerungskabel und/oder Mehr-
fachsteckdosen sollten nicht verwendet werden.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass beim Anbringen wei-
terer Geräte (z. B. Kompressoren von Lage-
rungssystemen usw.) eine sichere Befestigung
und Funktion aller Geräte gegeben ist.
Legen Sie keine Mehrfachsteckdosen unter
das Pflegebett. Es besteht Brandgefahr durch
eindringende Flüssigkeit.
Achten Sie auf eine sichere Verlegung aller
beweglichen Anschlusskabel, Schläuche usw.

wiring, cables, tubes, etc.
Pay attention that when using additional elec-
trical components, such as patient lifts, reading
lights or compressors for positioning systems
that their electrical cords do not get entangled or
damaged by the moving parts of the bed.
Connect the bed directly to an electrical out-
let. Do not use extension cords and/or multiple
outlet extension cords.
Make sure that when attaching other appli-
ances (e.g. compressors for positioning sys-
tems) that a safe mounting and function is
guaranteed.
