Show Settings
View HDGT and vehicle information. See page 87 for more
information about checking the HDGT status to determine if the unit
has been locked to a vehicle.
Uninstall Device
The process of uninstalling the HDGT tune from the engine computer.
Update Device Software
Complete the update process by transferring files from the microSD
memory card to the HDGT.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This step reprograms the engine computer (ECM/ECU); therefore,
it is very important to be fully informed and prepared before
beginning the process.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Most DTCs indicate a problem with the engine, not the HDGT
or the tune.
To determine if the HDGT or tune is causing a DTC:
1. Uninstall the tune
2. Drive the vehicle for about one week.
If the DTC comes back contact an OEM certified mechanic.
If the DTC
doesn’t
come back, proceed to the next step.
3. Reinstall the tune.
Drive the vehicle for about one week.
If the DTC comes back while the tune is reinstalled, contact
Bully Dog technical support.
