Change Monitoring Type
Control the protocol the HDGT uses to communicate with the engine
computer
(ECM)
. In general, this option should only be changed under
the direction of a Bully Dog technical support agent.
Auto-Detect:
HDGT will automatically determine the best protocol
to use.
J1587:
An older style protocol.
J1939:
Current protocol.
1. 250k: used for 9 pin trucks that DO NOT have a green port
2. 500k Newer trucks that DO have a green port
Check ECM Status
Designed specifically for the EGR Cummins® engine, this option
should only be accessed under the direction of Bully Dog tech.
Retrieve ECM Password
Designed specifically for the EGR Cummins® engine, this option
should only be accessed under the direction of technical support.
