OPERATING THE HDGT
USB Mode
Connecting the HDGT to a computer via USB cable enters it into the
USB mode.
In order to use the Update Agent, keep the HDGT in USB Mode.
If you want to use your computer to power the HDGT and access
some of the functions without connecting it to a vehicle, you can exit
USB mode by pressing the top left button as shown in the
illustration below:
Checking HDGT Status
There are two different aspects of the HDGT that can affect whether
or not it can be installed on a vehicle.
1. If the tune has been installed on a vehicle, it is locked and
cannot be installed until it has been uninstalled from the
original vehicle.
2. If the speed limiter has been adjusted with the HDGT Special
Features, it is locked and cannot be installed on another vehicle
until it has been uninstalled from the original vehicle.
