The hard-disk-drive partitions switch is located at the rear of the 58/02 expansion unit, just below
the SAS connectors.

v

If the hard-disk-drive partitions switch position is changed, you must power the 58/02 expansion
unit off and on in order for the 58/02 to sense the new position of the hard-disk-drive partitions
switch.

The SAS disk subsystem in the 58/02 expansion unit is supported by the following operating systems:

AIX

v

Linux

v

VIOS

To determine the level of software you need to support the SAS disk subsystem in the 58/02
expansion unit, see IBM
