Slacken the clamping handle (11) and use a set

square to check that the sawing angle is 90°.
If the angle is not exactly 90°, adjust as follows:

Turn the nut (19) a few threads

counterclockwise.

Turn the screw (20) to set adjust the sawing

angle.

ADJUSTING THE SAW BAND

The saw band has been adjusted correctly when it
is centered on the saw band wheels and does not
show wobble.

Loosen the clamp locks (3) and open the cover

(7).

Turn the saw band (5) around by turning the

upper saw band wheel (21) into the sawing
direction, and check the running of
the saw band.
If adjustment is required, proceed as follows:

Slacken the height adjuster (9) and slide the saw

band until it is centered on the wheel.

Check the running of the saw band again and

further adjust if required.

Tighten the height adjuster.

ADJUSTING THE SAW BAND GUIDES

The saw band guides have been adjusted correctly
if the saw band has a clearance of max. 1 mm.
Upper saw band guide

Remove the saw band protection (6).

Move the saw band guide to its upper position

using the height adjuster (10).

Slacken the screw (23).

Set the guide roller (24) to the required distance.

Tighten the screw (23).

Set the longitudinal guides (25) to the correct

distance.
Adjustment of the longitudinal guides is performed
simultaneously.

By turning screw (23) out and turning screw (26)

in, the guide to the left in the figure comes closer to
the saw band.

By turning screw (26) out and turning screw (23)

in, the guide to the right in the figure comes closer
to the saw band.
Lower saw band guide

Slacken the screw (27).

Set the guide (28) to the required distance.

Tighten the screw (27).

REPLACING THE SAW BAND

Loosen the clamp locks (3) and open the cover

(7).

Put the upper saw band wheel (21) into its lowest

position by loosening the height adjuster (9) and the
adjusting screw (8).

Slacken the screws (29) a few threads and slide

the wheelbrush (30) just away from the lower saw
band wheel (31).

Remove the old band.

Put the new band (5) round the saw band wheels

as shown.
First put the blade round the upper wheel, then,
while holding the blade in place, put it round the
lower wheel.

Adjust the band.

Adjust the guides.

Tension the band by tightening the adjusting

screw (8).

Slide the wheelbrush against the lower wheel

and tighten the screws (29).

Close the cover and tighten the clamps.

Before changing a saw band, always unplug the
machine.
Only use sharp and undamaged saw bands.
Bent saw bands should be replaced immediately.
Always mount the saw band with the teeth pointing
down.
Set the correct saw band tension to help avoid
breaking the blade.

ADJUSTING THE BEVEL ANGLE

The bevel angle is infinitely variable between 0° and
45°.

Slacken the clamping handle (11).

Set the desired bevel angle according to the

scale (32).

Tighten the clamping handle.

MOUNTING AND ADJUSTING THE MITRE
GAUGE

The mitre gauge can be mounted both to the left
and to the right of the saw band.

Slide the mitre gauge (33) into the slot (34) to the

left or right of the saw band (5) as required.

Slacken the adjusting screw (35) and use a set

square to check that the mitre angle is 90°.

Tighten the adjusting screw.

Use a screwdriver to set the indicator (36) to the

corresponding value on the scale (37).
The guide fence should always be mounted to the
machine with the profile pointed towards the saw
band.

SETTING THE MITRE GAUGE FOR SAWING
STRAIGHT CROSS-CUTS

Slacken the adjusting screw (35) and set the

mitre angle to 90°.

Tighten the adjusting screw.

SETTING THE MITRE GAUGE FOR SAWING
MITRE CUTS

The mitre angle is infinitely variable between 0° and
90°.
According to the scale, values can be set from 30°
to 90°.

Slacken the adjusting screw (35) and set the

required mitre angle.

Tighten the adjusting screw.

MOUNTING AND SETTING THE GUIDE PROFILE

The guide profile can be mounted both to the left
and to the right of the saw band.

Release the handle (38).

Slide the guide profile (39) with the bracket (40)

around the edges of the saw table (6) to the left or
right of the saw band (5) as required.

Clamp the handle and make sure it points

downwards.
Make sure that the guide profile is guiding as much
of the workpiece as possible.
Beware that the guide profile is not touching the saw
band.
