Adding a PLC adapter to a PLC network that is already
configured
To add a PLC adapter to a PLC network that is already configured, perform one of the operations
below.
Method 1 : Add by Using “Private Network Name”
1 In the Privacy screen (page 6) , check the “Private Network Name” of the PLC network that is
already configured.
2 In the settings for the new PLC adapter, set the same Private Network Name.
Method 2 : Add by using the [Add] button
1 Connect the new PLC adapter to an outlet.
2 Connect the setup computer to the existing PLC network.
3 In the Main screen (page 4), click [Add], enter the Device Password of the new PLC adapter,
and click [OK].
Notes : · The Device Password is on the label of the PLC adapter.
· Any name can be entered for the Device Name.
· Be sure to connect the setup computer to the existing PLC network when making the
setting. When a new PLC adapter is connected and the settings are made, the existing
PLC network will be disconnected.
