Meaning
Private Network Name
Enter the Private Network Name (PLC network identifier).
This is the name of your private network. Only devices that are set
with the same Private Network Name will be able to communicate
over the PLC network.
When a new PLC adapter is connected to an existing PLC network,
set the Private Network Name to be the same as that of the existing
PLC network.
Click [Use Default (Public Network)] to use “HomePlugAV”, the
default private network.
Set Local Device Only
Click to apply the Private Network Name registered above only to
the PLC adapter connected to the computer by a LAN cable.
Set All Devices
Click to apply the Private Network Name registered above to all PLC
adapters displayed in the Main screen (page 4).
