Your Synergy 1400 treats messages and memos
in the same way for playing and deleting.
When messages have been recorded the
Synergy 1400 handset and base station will
indicate that they have been stored:
Handset display shows the message
symbol
if there are unplayed messages
and also the total number of messages stored,
whether played or not.
Display also shows
HSET 1 XX
, where

is the
number of the registered handset and
XX
is
the number of stored messages.
ANSWERING MACHINE
The base station display also shows the
number of stored messages.
Message Alert, if activated, sounds if any
messages have not yet been listened to.
The message symbol
will not appear if
all stored messages have been played.

there are messages. It will show

if there are none.
Press the

functions as the

After a pause the voice says:

n messages. Message 1’
. The first
message will be played while display

LAST FWD DEL.
The

buttons now line up, and
function as
LAST
FWD
DEL
and you can
select options as you move through
your messages.
At the end of message 1 the day and
time of the message are announced,
e.g.
‘Saturday 12:01’.
The process is
repeated for each additional message.
