Is the print head dirty?
Clean the print head. For details, see

Make sure that there is no slack in the ink ribbon cassette,
and then reinstall it.

I want to reset the machine.
To reset the machine, perform the following procedure.
1 Press the power button ( ) on the machine to turn it on.
2 Press the MENU/ESC button.
3 Press

Reset
], and then press the OK
button.

Factory Reset
], and then press
the OK button.
All of the machine settings and transferred data from the
computer will be deleted, and the machine will be reset to its
factory settings.

printing. Then, select to cancel printing.
