After applying sealant (Threebond 1215) to the
shaded area, install the gear cover 24 by tightening
the five screws 25 at a torque of 1 Nm.

Remove the rubber cap (1) and apply grease,
and then reinstall the rubber cap (1).

Insert as far as this

16g of grease

(1) Rubber cap

1) Turn the pulley to set the needle bar to

near its lowest position.

2) Insert the grease nozzle (3) into the

gear box as far as the lower shaft gear
(2), and apply 16g of grease (BZL-500
grease).
