Tray ID setting (Only if the lower tray unit is installed)

If someone moves the paper tray into another tray position and even if the data is still printed
without knowing this has been done, the driver automatically selects the correct tray and prints
according to this setting.

Printing from the MP Tray

Plain paper, thin paper, recycled paper, bond paper, thick paper, transparency, labels,
envelope and card stock can be fed into the MP tray.  (For details on feedable paper, see

subsection 3.6 ‘Paper’ in CHAPTER 1

.)

NOTE:

For correct printing, select the same paper size from within the software application as the
paper in the tray.

•

 

If the application software does not support paper size selection in its print menu, the
paper size can be changed on the printer’s control panel under the PAPER menu.  For
more information, see

 subsection 5.5.2 ‘Paper’ in this chapter

.

When using the MP tray, follow the steps below:

(1)  Open the MP tray and lower it gently.
