4.2 Unacceptable Media
The machine may not be able to feed the following media and transfer the foil onto them successfully.
Media with a carbon sheet attached
Media with ink-based print
Media that is not completely dry
Media written in pencil
Media of uneven thickness, such as envelopes
Media with large wrinkles or the curl value exceeding 5 mm
Media that uses tracing paper
Media that uses coated paper
Photographs (photographic paper)
Media printed on perforated paper
Media printed on unusually shaped paper (not square or rectangular)
Media with photos, notes, or stickers affixed to them
Media that uses carbonless paper
Media that uses loose-leaf paper or any paper with holes in it
Media with paper clips or staples
Fabrics or metallic sheets
Non-rectangular paper
Glossy or mirrored media
Media that exceeds the recommended thickness
Media that is folded (contains many layers)
Media that has tape on it
Cardboard or fabric
Important
When using wood-containing paper, the life of the Separation Roller may be reduced compared to using
wood-free paper.
