Cleaning the Showerhead
Your Bristan showerhead has a rub-
clean pad for easy cleaning. Simply rub
your fingers across the rubber spray jets
regularly and before you turn the shower
on to remove any scale or debris.

Maintenance
Before carrying out any maintenance, turn
off the mains water supply and close any
isolating valves.
Remove the grub screw cover cap, loosen
the grub screw (but do not remove) using
a 2.5mm hexagonal key, turning anti-
clockwise. Remove the head.
Unscrew the shroud from the locking nut.
Unscrew the locking nut from the tap
body using the correct size spanner and
remove the cartridge. Wash the cartridge
with clean running water and make sure
that any debris has been removed. Dry
and lightly grease the seals (only use
silicone grease), replace the cartridge,
locking nut, shroud and head.

will determine how often you should clean
your showerhead. Build up of scale in
particularly hard water areas combined
with constant use means you may need
to clean your showerhead once a week.
To ensure continued performance of
your shower the showerhead needs to be
regularly descaled.

Removing Flow Straightener
To remove the flow straightener for
cleaning and maintenance, place a coin in
the flow straightener slot and turn anti-
clockwise (turn clockwise to refit).
