5. Connect the rod end of the the control arm (117 1/4” from center of hole to far side of rod
handle) to the the third lug on the pivot shaft.
Again secure with 1/2” diameter x 1 1/2” clevis pin and 1/8” x 1” cotter pin.
6. Remove the cotter pin and washer from the other end of the control arm at the front of the
machine, and extend it through the exposed hole in the lever. (See figure 20.)
(Note: It may be necessary to remove the clevis pin which locks the lever in position.)
Replace the washer and the cotter pin.
7.
Fasten the control arm support angles to the frame:
a. Place the clamps over the hoses at the two blocks
located near the front of the frame.
b. Position the support angles of the control arm
over the clamps at these two blocks.
c. Bolt the angles and ther clamps to the
frame blocks using 5/16” x 1” long
capscrews and lockwashers.

4a. Assemble the dirt shield directly under the pivot shaft and between the frame members as
shown in figure 19. Use four 3/8” U-bolts, lockwashers and nuts to attach it firmly in place.
