child car seat, until the harnesses properly
adhere to the child’s body in a comfortable way
(Fig. 10). The harnesses must be tight enou-
gh so that the child is held in position but they
should not cause discomfort or distress.
Loosening the harnesses
Press the release button on the front of the
1.
seat (1) (Pic. 11).
Holding down the button, pull forward the har-
2.
nesses above the shoulders (2) (Pic. 11).
Attention: the buckle between the legs has a
fixed position and cannot be adjusted. Do not
pull the shoulder straps. Make sure that no part
of the harness group is twisted.
Determining the proper height of
the shoulder harnesses
Always make sure that the openings in the
backrest through which the harnesses are pas-
sed are at shoulder level or just slightly above
shoulder level (Pic. 12). The backrest has two
harness positions (a - b) that must be used
according to the child’s height. To change the
position of the harnesses, unfasten them from
the harness group connector (Pic. 13) and
remove them from the backrest, together with
the shoulder straps; then, repeat these steps in
reverse order from the new position.
Inclining the child car seat
The backrest is secured at the base and is able
to adjust its incline depending on the angle of
the vehicle’s seat. However, the angle of the
backrest with respect to the seat can be incre-
ased to make travel more comfortable for the
child. This additional adjustment is achieved
using the spacer that, moving the seat forward,
increases the incline of the backrest.
Turn the child car seat upside down and turn the
spacer under the seat to the open position (Pic.
14). Place the child car seat on the appropriate
vehicle seat and push it up against the back of
the seat. Secure the child car seat with the ve-
hicle’s seat belts as previously described.

3.

4.
