Assembling Your Buffet Server
CAUTION
: DO NOT
plug in the
appliance or turn on until after
assembly has been completed. Failure
to do so could result in injury.
To assemble the buffet server:
1. Attach the chafing dish retainer to
the warming tray.
2. Place the chafing dishes side by
side inside the chafing dish
retainer.
NOTE:
If you would like to use only the
warming tray, no assembly is required.
Simply take the base of the unit and
do
not
attach the chafing dish retainer or
the chafing dishes. Ensure that the
dishes that you will be using on the
plate warmer are heat resistant.
DO
NOT USE PLASTIC DISHES OR
PLASTIC WRAP ON THE PLATE
WARMER
.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
4
WARNING: Do not
touch the hot
surfaces of the buffet server without the
use of oven mitts.
Do not
touch the
underside of the warming tray when the
buffet server is in use.
NOTE:
To help keep the heat and
moisture in foods, keep the lids on the
chafing dishes.
The plate warmer will remain unblemished for a long time with appropriate care. The
warming tray and stainless steel chafing dishes allow for an attractive alternative for
keeping appetizers and other foods warm. For best results use nylon, plastic, wooden
or rubber utensils. Metal utensils may be used with care but should not be used to cut
food on the cooking surfaces.
IMPORTANT: Do not
use plastic dishes
or plastic wrap on the plate warmer
Setting the Temperature
1. To achieve the best results possible
from your buffet server, use the
maximum heat setting in order to get
the desired temperature. Once the
desired temperature has been
reached, adjust to the appropriate
temperature setting.
2. There are three (3) different
temperature setting positions:
a)
1
st
position (LOW) 155º F (68º C)
Best used for foods that contain a
small amount of liquid or none.
Occasional stirring is required.
b)
2
nd
position (MED) 175º F (79º C)
c)
3
rd
position (HIGH) 195º F (91º C)
How to Use the Buffet Server
1. The buffet server fully can be used
assembled or you can use the base as
a warming tray on its own.
2. When using the buffet server as a
warming tray, make certain that the
containers and/or dishes being used
are heat-resistant. Also, the warming
tray was not made to keep large, deep
pots full with food and/or liquids warm.
WARNING:
The sides and bottom of the
warming tray get very warm. It is
recommended that you use an insulated
hot pad underneath the unit to avoid any
heat damage to your counter or furniture.
DO NOT
place directly on a table cloth – it
could cause a fire.
WARNING: DO NOT
use the chafing
dishes for cooking or baking. These are
only
intended to
keep food warm

Le démarrage initial peut causer une odeur et une fumée
minimale durant environ 15 minutes. Cela est normal et
sans danger. Ce phénomène est causé par le brûlage de
l’enduit protecteur appliqué aux éléments chauffants en
usine.
