2.0 General Safety Rules
Your RGW system requires connection to your home's sanitary drain and should only be installed by
a licensed plumber. This installation guide is intended for general information purposes only.
WARNING:
This grey water recycling system is for indoor use only and must be protected from damp, rain and
freezing.
WARNING:
The grey water from this unit is not fit for human consumption.
WARNING:
Water that has been recycled through the RGW system is not intended for drinking purposes! For
this reason, do not install a permanent connection to the grey water spout (faucet). This outlet is
only provided so you can connect a closed loop irrigation system (if allowed) or to prime the system
pump. Do not use a sprinkler or spray directly onto your vegetables with grey water. Always clearly
mark any grey water outlet. BRAC Systems INC., and its representatives or distributors are ab-
solved of any responsibility, either real or intended, for the misuse of grey water by the consumer.

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury, read all the instructions before using this
unit. This system is intended for household use only as described in this manual. Any other use
including but not limited to commercial, agricultural, or outdoor use, is not recommended by the
manufacturer and may cause fire, electric shock, injury and/or damages.
WARNING:
To avoid pump failure, double check that the pipe for the fresh water make-up has been connected
to the right port on the unit and that the pump is properly primed.

Changes or modifications made to this equipment, not expressly approved by BRAC Systems INC.,
or parties authorized by BRAC Systems INC., could void the user’s warranty.
Note:
Before beginning installation, carefully read this manual and complete the installation checklist. This
will simplify the installation and ensure that the BRAC grey water recycling system is installed cor-
rectly and safely. Leave these instructions near the system after installation for future reference.
Note:
BRAC Systems recommends that the NORWECO brand “Bio Sanitizer” Calcium Hypochlorite tab-
lets be used for optimal results. The dissolve rate from these 140-gram (5oz.) tablets has met the
performance requirements set forth by BRAC Systems. The Calcium Hypochlorite tablets can be
found at your local pool supply store.
